I can't draw with my finger.

Elbook's canvas is Apple Pencil only. Your finger navigates, pans, and turns pages, but it doesn't draw. This keeps your hand resting on the page without leaving marks, the way it does on paper. An Apple Pencil is required to write.

How do I back up my journals, or move them to a new iPad?

Your journals live on your iPad, in Elbook's own storage. You can save every book into one file by opening Settings (the gear icon on the shelf) and choosing Back Up All Books, and bring them back using Restore from Backup. If you have iCloud Backup or an encrypted computer backup turned on, that storage is included in it, so restoring your device restores your books. There's no account, so there's nothing we hold server-side and nothing we can restore for you. If you delete the app, everything in it goes too.

Why can't I change the paper in a template?

Designed templates are finished, printed art. The pages arrive the way they were made, the same way a journal you buy in a shop does. Start a blank book if you want to choose your own paper and add pages freely.

Can I use Elbook in another language?

Not yet. This first version is English only, so changing your iPad's language won't change Elbook's. More languages are on the way. Elbook already keeps its own text separate from yours, so when they arrive, everything you've written stays exactly as you wrote it.

Can I get my writing out of Elbook?

Yes. You can export a single book by opening it, selecting More, then tapping Export PDF, or by tapping Share as PDF under a book on the shelf. This renders the whole book, handwriting included, and hands it to the standard iOS share sheet, so it goes wherever you send it. You can also export your entire library at once by opening Settings (the gear icon on the shelf) and choosing Export All Books as PDF.

What's free, and what needs Elbook Pro?

Free gives you three books on your shelf, every pen and paper, and PDF export. Pro removes the shelf limit, and lets you bring in your own PDFs or photos as pages, put your own photo on a cover, and use any future premium templates. If a subscription lapses, nothing you've already made is locked or hidden, you just can't start new Pro work until it's active again.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open Settings and tap Manage Membership. That opens Apple's own subscription page, since Elbook uses Apple's payment system directly and never sees your card details. If a purchase isn't showing up, tap Restore Purchases instead.
